Online self-paced courses for editors
Elevate your skills with PerfectIt
Today, there are lots of tools that editors can use to save time and improve quality. One of my favourite tools is PerfectIt, which helps you to find and fix inconsistencies (e.g. in spellings, hyphenations and capitalisation), and does a host of other things to speed up your editing. To make it easy for editors to get started with PerfectIt, I have created online, self-paced courses that provide notes, videos, exercises and quizzes.
This short course is very clear and well organised, making it easy to follow and experiment. It is easy to complete in one sitting—and move straight into using PerfectIt on paid work. Thank you. Claire, Brisbane
Master referencing with EndNote
For academic editors, I have created a course on the reference management program EndNote. There is a paid course for those who want to get serious about EndNote, and a free course for those who just want to be able to work confidently with authors who use the program.
Excellent little course … This will change the way I work with EndNoted papers and theses. Olivia, Sydney
